Sunday May 29 am update

Bob and Roberta (brother and sister) returned home to Texas and Florida respectively yesterday. I know you both missed family time with kids and grandkids this holiday weekend, so please let them know how much I appreciated you all being here. John, Sarabeth and grandson Will brought dinner last night. I had forgotten how tiring it can be playing with building blocks on the floor.

Today's goal - to the end of the block and back. No time goal has been set for this adventure.

  1. I am a bit technology challenged and have had trouble posting a comment, but am trying again. Glad you are home. Enjoy the excursion. My prayers have been with you since I heard about the surgury Friday morning.

  2. So good to read your post. Your brother obviously hasn't figured out how to post a comment. Figures. I'm glad you are going to walk today. My guess is it's probably already happened. Keep it up. Sorry I missed your call but I'm home now if you feel like calling back. Ken said you sounded great. Watch out for block building activities. Don't want you to over do! (normally, I would put a smiley face here.)

  3. Billy,
You are simply amazing!! Obviously you have been in our thoughts and prayers. We are so thankful that all has gone so well..

Now that the mushy part is over, don't expect any addtional strokes the next time we play golf. Hurry up and regain your strength so I can kick your ---!
By the way I was so surprised that Dr. Medaris was not assisting in the surgery, but Im sure he gave the doctor explicit instructions.
We hope to see you soon.

  4. Bill,
As previously stated, you owe me big time for escorting Roberta to her plane. She seemed better once the flight attendant strapped her in and pinned the wings. Marti's little bag of cookies was a nice touch. I sure hope it did not make Roberta abdominally uncomfortable, if you know what I mean.
Remember in your living room when I said I wanted to capture this moment of silence to take home with me? Just let me say it would have come in handy a couple of times today.
I am with you on the 13.1 unless you insist on me eating your dust...again. By the way, is biking an option?
Stay focused and a little mean.

  5. Please note that it took Bob until 10:23 PM TX time to figure out how to post a comment. Pathetic.

Hope you had a good sleep last night, Bill. Marti, too!

  6. Getting down and up off the floor playing with kids is probably one the most arduous work-outs there is.

Will is going to have you in enough shape to get to the end of the block and back a few times.
